Asteroids Warpage

Asteroids Warpage is a fast-paced space shooter inspired by the classic Asteroids. I originally created it as a simple demo project in HTML and JavaScript. However, it turned out that blasting space rocks is just too much fun not to share — so here it is!

Battle through 10 levels of escalating chaos. Asteroids break into deadly fragments, your shield won’t last forever, and ammo is limited — though occasional supply drops might keep you in the fight.

Jump in, blast some asteroids, and enjoy the chaos!

Controls:

• UP – Thrust forward
• LEFT / RIGHT – Rotate
• SPACE – Shoot
• S – Toggle sound
• P – Pause game
• D - Debug mode
• G - Toggle graphics

The game works on mobile and supports touch controls, although the full arcade experience shines best when firing off rapid bursts from the keyboard.

Assets & AI disclosure

Space background image was created by ChatGPT and generic parts of the code were auto-completed by GitHub Copilot. 
Models such as asteroids and the spaceship were created in Blender. Sounds and explosion effects are from opengameart.org.
